EPSG
The EPSG registry is a standardised catalogue of coordinate reference systems, datums, and map projections.
The so-called EPSG codes act as short IDs that software uses to identify a specific CRS or projection consistently. For the example of the common Lat-Lon projection, you can use the code EPSG:4326 to tell your GIS software or data mapping routine exactly how to interpret, display, or transform coordinates.
In the following, we list the EPSG codes for the 7 continental subgrids of the Equi7Grid. This is the easiest access to Equi7's seven continental coordinate reference systems (CRSs).
For more information, and usage examples please refer to the Equi7Grid python package page.
